Ever tried Healthy Yee Sang?

Gong Xi Fa Cai! The Good Co. wishes everyone a wealth of happiness, abundance and good health this auspicious Year of the Rooster. To celebrate this Chinese New Year with prosperity, The Good Co. crafted the most symbolic dish for the most important festival in the Chinese lunar calendar – Yee Sang. Eaten with the traditional “Lou Hei” ritual by tossing the Yee Sang ingredients high in the air while shouting all things auspicious, good fortune and especially good health; we believe good health should be reflected in the ingredients of the Yee Sang. 

That’s why The Good Co. decided to bring a healthy twist to the traditional Yee Sang, so everyone can indulge guilt-free without worrying about waistlines after the festive season. This recipe replaces standard Yee Sang with an all-natural and fresh line-up of ingredients, which is free of preservatives, additives, artificial colorings, artificial flavorings and refined sugar. The ingredients for this light and refreshing recipe are: 


1. Seabird Nest

Valuable gift from the sea which is 100% organic coral grass which is rich in enzyme nutrients, minerals, calcium, iron, multitude fibers and jelly form protein, especially good for the skin..

2. Pear

Benefits include decrease in risk of obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and overall mortality while promoting a healthy complexion, increased energy, and a lower weight. Rich in vitamin C and contain good quantities of antioxidants and minerals.

3. Pickled Beetroot

Can lower blood pressure in a matter of hours and a unique source of betaine, a nutrient that helps protect cells, proteins and enzymes from environmental stress. Also high in immune-boosting vitamin C, fibre, potassium and manganese.

4. Carrot

Food which improves eyesight, boost immune system and prevents heart diseases. Rich in vitamin A and K.

8. Daikon
